They let him walk when they were tanking, different circumstances now, but if not chicago then phili, or columbus

Not that it matters, but the Hawks let Kampf walk following the 20/21 season. They were trying to push for a playoff spot at that point, not trying to tank. They let Kampf walk because they wanted more offensive production from their bottom 6. Your whole take on this couldn't be more wrong.

Kampf has value to contending team. Not rebuilding team. Go away Leafs fans. Stop wasting my time with Kampf to Hawks trades.
