Josh Manson 2 x $4,500,000 Olli Maatta 1 x $3,000,000 Sorry Detroit isn't the one retaining here. Plus in the past Manson has been a health liability.

This is getting silly. Georgie won the most games in the season for a reason. It’s true the team hasn’t been playing as dominantly as it was earlier in the season but we are still in the playoffs. We aren’t going to make knee jerk reactions based on 5-10 below average games. The team needs to get a lobotomy to remove the brain farts. Especially if they can’t get it together for the playoffs but they aren’t going to scrap the plan.


There is no way Jarry is worth a starting goalie and a first round pick plus a prospect. I think Georgie is likely the better goalie anyway.
Manson is worth more. Don’t know about Wood’s value but Sakic is a respected President because he treats his people with respect. I doubt that wood is traded one year into that contract. Unless he asks to be traded.

CF is out of control. COL isn’t trading a prospect AND a 1st round pick to switch from a head case to do who is always hurt. Easy no. COL literally dumped $8M of contract and got back a top 4 dman for a first. Easy no every day.

Georgiev has some core issues with his game. Terrible 1v1 and mentally weak & its been happening all year. I'm not sure how Jussi Parkkila hasn't addressed these things, but maybe he's just not that good of a coach. Either way, if we're still here after a whole season, I don't see how this improves & Avs might be better to move on & try with a different goalie.

I don’t think Georgie is immune to being replaced. It’s just this panic is silly. We need to put the blame where it belongs. On the team and defense… and the goalie. Scapegoating Georgie doesn’t solve the problem. The mental game needs fixing. The physical game will turn around if the mental game improves.

Would Colorado be willing to part with Mittelstadt to Pittsburgh? The Penguins need a 2CA to transition with Malkin.
