Vlassic has been our most consistent D this season. He has great underlying defensive numbers. We look to lock him in long term, and I highly doubt him and Seth are split up next year.

Hawks decline the VAN trade. Contracts and lines are way off here. Zero need for an OFLD in ghost and won't be spending big on Reinhardt

Those players aren't even worth the 2nd round pick let alone giving up 2 prospects who will likely be roster players for the Canucks next year. On top of that there isn't even cap savings in this trade.

Yeah. And they don't know who Guttman or Commesso are, and they don't realize that Mikheyev is a cap dump, Podkolzin is a BORDERLINE bust, and Silovs is not that valuable, or that a late 2nd has a fraction of the value an early 2nd does.

Now you don’t know who Silovs is because he would be the 2nd best goalie on the Blackhawks and pushing Mrazik for starts

I know exactly who Silovs is. He is a good goaltender prospect, but he is still unproven and isn't worth nearly as much as this proposal insinuates.
