NSH declines. NSH doesn't need a bottom pair RD, they have plenty of players who can fill that spot. NSH biggest need is a top pairing RD to consistently play with Josi

To be fair he said semi-realistic. The Risto offer is fine...If NSH whiffs on any RHD FAs, then sure, GMs seem to have a hard on for him cause "big dman playoff hockey" (or at least Fletcher did).

Briere said it would have to be an overpayment. GMs love players like Laughton. plays with grit and is a leader. put up 30-40 points most of his career. Has 2 years left so isnt a rental. Just put down Buffalo because there was smoke around the TDL. could be another team who knows.

NSH already has a big RHD named Schenn to play that 3rd pairing. There is no need for Risto.
