Trades
1.
WPG
  1. 2024 1st round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
Not necessarily ottawa but a team in the range of 25-30ish based on this player being available
OTT
  1. Lundmark, Simon
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (MTL)
Additional Details:
What else would be needed to upgrade the mtl 2nd (currently 38th overall) to the later first round?

Included Lundmark as an example of a player that could be added
2.
WPG
OTT
  1. Mews, Henry
Additional Details:
Henry is a rhd that played with ottawa 67s in the ohl and put up some points as the #1 dman. He's likely one of the best rhd in the 2nd tier of players (Zayne Parekh, Carter Yakemchuk etc) jets need rhd prospects that have more upside as the only rhd the jets have that has top 4 upside is salomonsson.

I could see a team like St Louis reaching a bit on Mews at around 18. RD tend to be picked earlier than expected.

But there’s some very good options for RD in the 25-40 range between Badinka, Kleber, Elick, Emery etc

Totally fair. Just was wondering as mews is likely what we have currently in pionk and has more upside than some names you mentioned. Jets need a rhd with top 4 upside badly.

Also I feel like Jiricek will be picked before Mews so I feel like if st Louis takes a rhd it would be Jiricek.

Yeah like I feel like mews could be a fringe top pair dman or at least the player with the best chance but some of the names you mentioned may be safer bets to be nhl regulars. I feel like mews is exactly what the jets need and to be fair in Bob MacKenzies mock he has mews at 37 and the jets have pick 38 currently (can be 37 if Arizona beats Edmonton)

We likely want Mews ourselves so idk if we’d trade that Boston 1st if hes on the board haha.

I thought that the sens were taking a dman with their own first and take a forward like Parascak with the Boston pick. Makes more sense to grab an elite dman early and take best forward available later no?

In 2021, Carolina traded back from pick #27 for picks #40 and #51. Without any other 2nds in the next two years, I would imagine the MTL second plus another prospect valued as an early-mid second is the cost of trading up.

Really depends how the draft goes down~ If we can get Parekh or Levshunov then they'd likely grab forward with the Boston pick. If theyre gone though I could see a world where we take Iginla/Lindstrom/Catton and then draft Mews or Emery with the Boston pick~

For something like this, I would recommend using the pick value calculator from puckpedia.
