As much as Flyers do not need another goalie, I think they take this.

Sens would have to add to also get Holtz imo. I would be interested in him though to pair with Greig and Joseph on the 3rd line.

Laughton I'm not big on but I could see why we'd be interested.

Holtz is gonna be included in goalie trade to CGY NSH or BOS in all likelihood

Sens moving a 1st for Laughton is among the dumbest things they could do. He is not good

I'm putting it out there with the belief that Giroux would approve of this move. Reasonable hit for another couple years while G is still around. We need vets and I think he's useful on PK, can move up and down the lineup.

I can live with that for a late first and reset in goal.

The concern with Laughton isn't that he's not a good guy, or that players in the room wouldn't like him. All the evidence suggests he's a genuinely good person, and personally, having an LGBTQ advocate like him on my team would make me very happy. The problem is he's just not very good. The Flyers got absolutely shelled defensively in his minutes, and while he's a decently productive player, his play driving metrics are terrible too. I like the edge he can bring, but that can't be all you're good for. I don't like the player fit at all. They need to bring in defensive stoppers, and he's EXTREMELY not that.
