These trades get more ridiculous by the minute all did u forget all the picks you have to give us to make this trade actually fair? Did you forget Chyckrun has had a brutal two years and wasn’t even worth TK to begin with let alone his drop in play?

He set career highs almost across the board......

Not to mention the biggest knock on him was his health and he played a full 82 this year. Both players are pending UFA's as well. How far off do you realistically think the value is?

Travis Konecny isn't going anywhere, Danny Briere is reportedly talking to his agent on a new contract.

for a team that is supposed to be rebuilding, that would be realy dumb, the only reason PHI even sniffed the playoffs was because the NJD craped the bed, WSH and PIT are on the downward trend and NYI sucked for parts of the season. Phily C is proly the worst in the division and the D aint that much better and the G is ooof.

Been saying TK to Ottawa for a min now. Type of player they need. But definitely need to add to that trade…I like the idea though.

I personally disagree, you need to keep a couple big guys on your team to help shape a style for the young guns to follow. TK plays that role as what people want a Flyer to be, so I think the two sticking together would be beneficial. However, if the Flyers get a good rebuild package offer then they need to take it.

A 1 for 1 Chychrun wouldn't really be that package.

OTT would be offering something else than chych for TK and keeping him would be a big mistake, when rebuilding a team needs to trade players that will bring in the most to help the rebuild, TK is tradeable, couture is not without major retention. the way Briere is doing things, philly will remain a bubble team for 5+ years, not good enough to make the playoffs and not bad enough to get top end picks. Your Centers are most likely the worst in your division and your D aint that much better and your Gs are ooof. The only reason PHI sniffed the playoffs this year is because NJD craped out hard, NYI sucked for parts of the season and pens self imploded at the end.

We almost made the playoffs because our goaltending was good until our goalie got arrested on a potential sexual assault. After that our backup had to pick up the starting role and wasn't prepared. Defense was frequently injured and needs repairing.

We were in the top 3 in Metro for most of the year, so discrediting it as "everyone else just sucked and you sucked less" is pretty superficial. We had brushes of genuine good hockey, and beat multiple of the top teams in the NHL. We just lost all semblance of consistency at the point where it mattered most. Didn't help that Torts kept making questionable roster decisions throughout the stretch.

How exactly? We haven't moved draft picks other than a 4th for veteran backup. We traded our solid defenseman to Colorado for an extra 1st. Briere isn't pushing for star power, he's pushing for futures.
