LMAO, Habs easily pass that Sabres deal

I'd rather the Sabres target some defensive d, nasty ones, for their third pair. Time to get tougher to play against. The Sabres 5 best d are all lefties, but dahlin can play the right side. Reinbacher would be nice, but with dahlin, power, and Byram here, I don't think reinbacher is adding anything we don't have. And if it costs Quinn, I wouldn't do it.

Visions of a top4 that has: Byram-Dahlin & Power-Reinbacher would be pretty amazing though
We could do that deal and STILL have plenty of firepower up front- and plenty coming still

And we could still have room to get tougher to play against as well

Proposing the trade of Reinbacher for Quinn is an admission they drafted the wrong guy, and I don’t think Montreal has that in them just yet. I’m also not sure Buffalo would do it. They don’t really need to, and Quinn brings more to the team now than Reinbacher would.
