Fredrick does not make this team a winner. Getting rid of the 16th pick to do that is dumb. Getting out of Krugs contract would be nice but still dont think that’s worth it considering our sites should be set on the future and not just how do we get out of these bad contracts.

As much as I loved Brandon Saad when he was in Columbus, I think a reunion at that price is too much. Also, that third is probably earmarked for the price to hire a gm from some other team's staff.

Bruins wouldn't bite on that even if you took Frederic out. Krug at full contract is a huge negative

Pick compensation is no longer a thing.

I don't find him or his contract objectionable for what he is, but so far as I can tell there really isn't a need or rationale for him here; he doesn't provide anything we're missing.

David Perron is remaining in Detroit.

Krug and Boston pass, Elliotte Friedman already said that as of now. Hometown Detroit is the only team he'll waive for.

There is no reason for Boston to even entertain Krug. Even at 50% retention at his age, it’s likely to be a bad contract.
