Columbus just sign Max McCue couple weeks ago...don't you think that they want to give him at minimum ONE year in the organisation before letting him go .COME ON !!!

Dvorak has underperformed the past few seasons and has been injured a lot. He isn’t worth his cap hit. At this point he would be a cap dump to the CBJ. Maybe not in your view but in the CBJ’s view it would be.

He's not a "cap dump", but he's definitely not an asset Columbus is interested in. We might claim him off waivers for free to try him out as veteran depth, but we've got plenty of bottom-sixers. No need to actually pay for more.

Ok, maybe not a cap dump per se but he literally has no value and would likely take him going on waivers to get him to move. But the Jackets are not interested in him. And we certainly are not giving any assets for him. 🙂

Price is on IR, not LTIR here, so they've got $10+M to work with. Unless I'm reading that wrong, in which case: yes, cap dump.

if Price is LTIR we have enough room and can ship him in LAVAL if no one wish to land him an offer to play nhl.
