Or, plot twist, we don't trade him, he becomes McTavish's LW since they're both buddies, and when McTavish isn't 2C for whatever reason (demotion, injury) then Zegras can slide to center to fill in.

Marchy and Stamkos aren't signing on a rebuilding Hans team.

And outside the Montreal 1st it's pure garbage for Trevor Zegras and he's not playing in Canada or Montreal.

We’ve said pretty unanimously on somewhere between 500-1,000 MTL posts that the value is about right at the ‘24 1st + Mesar or Beck. This is close, but not that.

Even still, we all hope Ana still declines that. We’re trying to exit a rebuild, not extend one

As a Montreal fan, don't ever make a trade for Zegras. Good player, but not worth the assets that the Ducks will be going for. Hughes is to stay on course. If the trade involves the current core it's not worth it.

Totally reasonable. Frankly I wish all MTL fans shared that point of view and stopped regurgitating the same trade over and over on this platform

He’s polarizing outside of ANA because the media’s portrayal of his flashy highlights, the fact that he’s outgoing, and because he got a chel cover without the type of performance that warrants it. In ANA we love him for what he is, which is a creative and dynamic threat on offense who’s adored by his teammates and fans alike for how much he loves playing the game. No problem with the league hating him, I’d like to see him in a Ducks sweater for his career
