3m over the cap, with 21 man roster....sure. Pesce will be near 30 when his contract starts. It just so unwise to give a player seven years, when he has probably peaked.

There’s 20+ teams that will be bidding on 5 good RD. Will have to give big contracts to land one

I wouldn't mind it if the Sens move Chychrun and Branny and then add Dumoulin to gain some size on the 3rd pair.

Dumoulin/another big veteran that they could get for a mid round pick (TVR maybe, or Whitecloud would be great-although he would cost more)
