I tried to tell every Oiler fan on here in the summer that Skinner chokes in the playoffs and Hart was by far and away the better goalie just playing on a worse team. Everyone laughed at me. Hart obviously is useless cause he can’t even play right now but he’s 100% better than Skinner. Oilers should have jumped on him a year ago even tho it would have screwed them anyway

I’m not saying skinner isn’t the answer, as he does have flaws. However, Darnell Nurse and that contract continue to make zero sense to me….

Agreed. It’s a boat anchor contract that no one would take on though - the oilers are stuck with Nurse.

Saros has been in the Vezina conversation 3 out of the last 4 years.

Bouchard will likely get Nurse level money or possibly even more if he can repeat what he did in 2024-25.
