Columbus isn't trading Jiricek and a top 5 pick for another winger. If Marner was a natural center, maybe they'd consider moving the pick

Idk which is worse…giving up that entire package for Marner as a rental, or giving up that entire package so we get the privilege of paying him $13M until he’s 36.

And knowing his production will be halved because he doesn't have Matthews or Tavares passing him the puck.

I agree with @philip_144

And...

After all the trashing Marner has got from fans and media...and the fact he really has been invisible in the playoffs pretty much...and the fact the team has two high end stars already locked up long term...

I ask all of Leaf nation...

Why would Marner want to stay? Or why wouldn't he look at other options? Don't show me some pajama photos please and thank you.
