Would the Islanders pay a first to get rid of Lee?

Ottawa would have zero interest in that and would much rather buy out Korpisalo

Kleven is not some random prospect. He's easily worth another 1st to Ottawa

    Instant decline

Why would NSH give up a pick for a $5M player to replace Zucker or Beauvilier, when they could re-sign either guy for less than that?

Smith is better than Beau tbh

I agree (though I do like what Beau's shown so far in the playoffs).

He's not better than Zucker though, and he doesn't have the upside of the multiple prospects that could be called up next season instead of trading for an overpaid journeyman.

If NSH wants to add forward depth, there are many better alternatives than Smith.

The GM Game is looking for new recruits!

Not sure if you'd be interested but we have a dynasty style fantasy game we hold on here and we need some people for GM/AGM roles.

NY would have to retain on lee.
SJS sharks trade is rejected outright.

Would love to pick up Kleven for Jarry, I'm not sure the picks need to go OTT way though considering they are taking back Korpi.
I don't think it's so easy to dump Korpi. They maybe better off accepting that trade 1 for 1 and letting OTT deal with it with their pick.
