Initial Creation Date: Apr. 25, 2024

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
- As much inconsistency comes with Debrusk, he has a career pace of 25g per 82 and has game breaking speed when he is going. 5.5x6 is a figure I think both parties can be happy with.
- A 3-team trade built around Buchnevich, Ullmark, Holtz and a 1st makes a whole lot of sense in my mind. Bruins need another top 6 winger, Devils have criminally underutilized Holtz and are desperate for stability in net, the Blues are in need of a retool; they get some valuable future pieces they can surround their young stars with.
- Look out for extensions to Marchand and Frederic (maybe Geekie?) in the summer.
- I predict Lysell will make the roster out of camp. If not, slide Geekie up the depth chart.
- Bruins will need to sign another bottom pair Dman, I'm just not interested in doing it myself.

There's maybe a timeline where Holtz could be like a 50% value piece in a Buch trade, but those other three pieces aren't doing much for ya.

In the offseason, half the league tops that.

Buch only scored four more points than zacha this year. He's turning 30, in need of a contract, and to everyone watching his play has slipped a bit from his PPG seasons. a first and a prospect like Holtz seems fair to me IMO. Nvm merkulov who's still pretty young and coming off a near PPG in the AHL (intriguing player at the very least).

Delusional as always.
Blues would take this and run and everyone knows it.

What I was thinking from NJ perspective, a pick in the mid to late 20s and a prospect they (Green and Fitzgerald) have not played much and blasted publicly to the media multiple times this season for a vezina caliber goalie they will do. Especially considering what kind of play they've had in net the past two years. With some ability to stop the puck they should be a cup contender.

With cap room, I’d rather see Boston pursue Guentzel than give up assets for Buch if we are trying to upgrade the wing position.

That package for Ullmark is likely too much for him. Anyone that flags this as a trade option for Swayman is being ridiculous.

Instead of carrying on with extension plans, the Blues would take... no! Jump at a four piece package with exactly nothing they would want in a Buch trade. They'd go to the team with no picks worth having and one of the weakest prospect pools in the league, and just go desperately take that right out of hand.

But I'm delusional? You've posted far better Buch trades here. Cut the performance.

The Blues are not trading Buch for deferred picks and no defense help of any kind. That should be obvious. They're trying to extend him, dude.

They won't even consider it.

We got Allen, Kahkonen for peanuts and they got 2.81 GAA / 0.909 SV% goaltending after deadline

And our problems were moreso with injuries and having a young blueline.

Holtz plus 1st for a rental goalie is nuts.
