Posting this here for good measure. If we have to come back to this team with any of the same coaching staff or core players, we should start some sort of protest.

I dont even want to waste a second of my time thinking about this team until the draft. Taking a long break from the Leafs. This team is absolutely pathetic. I could go on for days about how much of a waste this season was, but I'll save the breath and save you all the time.

This team in 13 of its last 14 playoff games couldnt get at min 3 goals.

Here's the offseason thread. Don't want to see the words "Leafs" and "Playoffs" in the same sentence again out of fear of getting sent into a potentially fatal laughing fit.

Now the rant.

Shanahan and Keefe need to be gone. Absolutely no justification for them being with this team next year. Tree get a bit of grace with it being his first year on the job but I want a new president pressuring him to make big changes.

Marner at a minimum need to be gone from the core 4. Tavares is going to be hard to move, but I don’t care, find a way. Buy him out if you have too. And maybe it’s an overreaction but I honestly think a Matthews trade should be explored. How many more crap playoff performances do we need to endure before we hold him accountable. I’m sick of Matthews getting a pass because he’s a generational talent. Trade him and get a massive haul and retool on the fly.

My guess.
Shanahan and Treliving stay.
Keefe gone.
Most/all assistants gone.
Big 4 all stay.
Brody, Domi, Bertuzzi, Sammy gone.
Lilly and Robertson 1 year deal and/or traded.

Basically - do the easiest thing.
