To play for Torts? And I think that is too much, try Johansen and Ristolainen for Marner.

I don’t know what the best spot for Marner is but I know for a fact it is not the city of Philadelphia with John tortorella as his head coach lol

How is Philly the best place for Marner? .. should stick to your own team, they’ve got enough problems.

I surely hope that’s a joke offer.

Philly is not the best destination for Marner at all. They are loaded on RW and they need to be looking for centers not wingers.

Marner is in his prime now and Philly is not a competitive enough to make any use of this.

And the cherry on top of the cake would be Marner being coached by Torts. That's just a disaster waiting to happen.

Idk what you’re hoping to get for him but definitely not a Brady Tkachuk

He’s still a 100 point winger that’s elite defensively.. a change of scenery can do wonders for a guys career. Marner would likely get a return similar to what Eichel or Tkachuk got. It’s more about quality over quantity

Yeah but he has a NMC and likely will want at least 12.25 to break even on the cap % of his last deal but he may demand more.

He can be ass and screw Toronto by walking to free agency next year

Yeah Philly is probably the last place for Marner unless he is coming for free lol. The Flyers just started our rebuild we aren’t spending assets let alone for a dude the coach would hate and doesn’t perform when it matters most

Michkov will need an elite playmaker and Marner gets his own team

We will either sign on in FA or draft one or trade for one when he gets here. I’m not giving him a new contract let someone else do that. This is a terrible idea for Philly.

Flyers need a center a lot more than they need a playmaking winger for Michkov.

Torts would love Marner..

Torts like his players to play 2 way hockey and defend as much as they create offence. He wanted the Sedins to block shots on the PK when they didn’t want to and weren’t good at it, Marner is actually willing to do it and does it well. The coach isn’t the issue - the issue is Marner won’t go to a bottom feeder

Hey we're a middle feeder at best.
