All I can say is bruins will not be taking back 2 cap dumps. Sure to ceci he can fill a bottom pair role for 1 season but you can kick rocks on campbell and find someone else to take him or buy him out yourself.

Broberg/ Ceci/ Drai you got a deal doubt Boston retains on anyone outside of Ullmark aswell

Bruins are underpaying on Drai here so either they take the cap dump or there would never be a deal

Pass then.

You are getting a top 4 dman that is great defensively and will cover for nurses low IQ, a 2nd line Center that is 2 way responsible, a starting goalie that won the vezina last season and a forward prospect who could probably easily slot in next to hyman and mcdavid just because of his speed and play making abilities.

Boston gets drai which yes is huge but will also cost us 13 mill after 1 season, a cap dump in ceci which i barely would want him on our 3rd pair as it is and broberg a defenceman who lights up the AHL but can’t do nothing in the NHL. Oh and we sacrifice depth

There's no chance Edmonton considers this.

An older middle-6 C.
A 2nd pairing defenseman with zero offensive game.
A B+ prospect.
An expensive backup goalie.

It's not exactly useless trash, but there's no game breaking talent there. Edmonton could get a much better haul elsewhere (or just re-sign Draisaitl, buyout Campbell and live happily ever after).

Edmonton already has a starter. They aren't spending Draisaitl+ to get a better backup.

Neither team makes this deal for various reasons. Not the point. If you view Ullmark as a backup or think Skinner is better, get a lobotomy.
