I don't think the Hawks would be interested in bringing in Evander to the lockerroom

Yikes. On its face, I think I agree, ChiHawk. On the other hand... they brought in Corey Perry this last year! I'd say it depends on how teammates and coaches value Evander, not us.

He does have a NMC clause, too. So, I doubt he waives to come to Chicago, anyway.

Cheers

Yeah but for a 7th round pick and obviously character wise was one of the reasons but that backfired. Kane's character has been well known, Hawks aren't going to risk him in the lockerroom especially after Perry

Just from a hockey perspective I'd like to have Kane on Bedard's LW if a 3rd is all it takes. But just can't see the Hawks taking the chance that Kane does something dumb off the ice. Plus he's probably not waiving anyway.

Edmonton declines both trades. You're undervaluing both players.

I dont think im that for off though. Kane is obviously still a great player, scores 30 a year hes fast, physical and plays well in the playoffs. His ability on the ice is worth much more than a 3rd, but I do think teams would still be hesitant with all his antics.
With Ceci I do think for the right fit you could maybe at the most get a 3rd but i think thats wishful thinking. He's a 3rd pair dman that makes 3.2 mil, to me thats too much.

What antics are you referring to? He's been a model citizen in Edmonton, and is well liked as a teammate.

He's a top-4 defenseman and has been for 8 years, with 4 different teams and 7 different coaches. But I guess you know more than all those professional coaches, huh?
