Podkolzin would be a great pick up for Rochester. Not enough for Krebs though

If Podz is a bust so is Krebs. Krebs is older both have a career high of 26 pts. At least Podz bring size and physicality to the game I don't think this deal makes sense for either team.

Podkolzin has a career high of 26, hes had 9 points since. Krebs has been anchored to some of the worst forwards in the league, despite his stature he plays well above his size and offers a ton of grit. Podkolzin wouldnt touch the Sabres roster

Hardest of hard passes on this one. Did Jensen have a good year? No. Was it as bad as lots of people make it out to be? Also no. Do the Caps need forwards? Yes. Do they need forwards that only scored 31 points over 89 games this year while playing the vast majority of his minutes with Petersson or Miller? Absolutely not.

Mikheyev is a worse player, coming off a worse season, playing a much less valuable position, and making more money. I'm looking for a 2nd and something else to make this deal happen and even then I don't really like it.

I heard on the broadcast last night that Mikheyev has 1 goal in his last 60 games. So, respectfully, absolutely not.
