How about this

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This team can make a playoff push in my opinion, they have an extra 2mil so if they want to add a player or two at the deadline they have a little bit of flexibility.

Are you aware of how mediocre Gaudreau is…especially considering his contract?

A 3rd rounder could get you alot more than 1mil in retention if you wanted.

Trading Walman just to dump Fabbri's salary is wild to me

How about you give us your 1st this year for Ullmark and taking dump Husso.

Otherwise keep Husso your problem.

2nd/and one of Buium/Wallinder for Ullmark. It’s less than his actual value but B’s likely take it.

None of this makes any sense for the Wings. Too many UFA signings on forward that are blocking prospects. Ullmark likely isn't a fit. Makes no sense to move Walman just to unload Fabbri.

How does trading Walman help the defense?

I won't even touch on the contract nonsense.

I’d take this trade if they retained ~2mil on top of the prospects and lower picks in order to dump Husso. I feel like that would warrant the rest of the return for Ully too

Boston doesn't consider that and it's not close.
That Minnesota trade makes us worse and the Wild don't have the cap for it.
Chatfield isn't a top 4 player.
Way too much for JVR and he isn't needed.
I could see Turbo getting more.
No reason to buyout Copp.
Buying out Holl would be reasonable, burying him in the minors is not.
