Have you seen Joseph Woll's stats? They aren't half bad. And we don't know how Scott will do under new management. I'd love to possibly fill that spot a little more, but not for a price like that. Is Vanacek really woth Bozak at half retention? It's so hard to say with AHL players because some of them can be stellar in the minors but never make that transition to the NHL

Edit: I might be willing to pay the price of Bozak for possibly Samsonov, though it would be a hard pill to swallow. But you're completely right that the Leafs are shored up in every department except future gooal.

Second Edit: Looked up Vanacek's stats and they aren't all they amazing. I do love Samsonov's stats though, they're quite beautiful to look at

Although teams might not have a pipeline to their own goalies, there are always goalies avaialable. And certainly there is no guarantee Samsonov will even come to North American. If he's that good, there is more secure money in Russian than to sign an ELC in North America.
You would think the Capitals want to dump cap not taking on more players and especially at centre a position where they are loaded.

Why would Bozak agree on a 4 year deal worth 3 million per season.
