Doesn't make any sense for SJ. They're way too far away from contending to pay this out for a year of Draisaitl (cause he probably won't extend).

My thought as well. Can't help but see a rumor and wonder what would it take?

Adding Campbell removes a MASSIVE amount of Draisaitl’s value. This is MASSIVELY one sided in Edmonton’s favour

Makes no sense for the oilers. They are in win now mode. They dont have time for draft picks, granlund is an analytic nightmare and a cap dump and the oilers dont need any more LD.

I don’t think the Sharks would trade 1st overall for McDavid with local kid Celebrini going 1st

Why trade your whole future for a guy that you might be able to get in free agency? Grandlund and Ferraro could be had if teams want but those other pieces are likely off the table, especially 1sts and Musty

No it doesn’t are u crazy this trade would ruin Edmontons chances to resign McDavid and to ever contend for the cup again lol are you brain dead?

3 1sts (one likely top 5-7, Campbell dump is the value for a 1st too), a top 6 LW prospect, mid 6 C prospect, future captain, a guy who made the Sharks remotely watchable, and a high 2nd for a guy who will likely play one season in SJ.

Just because this hurts EDM in the long haul doesn't meant it's not equally as atrocious for SJ. Maybe try using your brain before posting.

Wait for him to become a UFA and throw the bank at him. If he resigns in EDM, build a competitive team and trade for him down the road. I just can't see any way that this would be a move the Sharks even consider for the next 3-4 years.
