Canucks aren’t moving a Vezina caliber goalie for a middle 6 winger and prospects

Canucks definitely aren’t trading Hronek for that little of a return

May as well keep Juulsen and Aman as cheap depth

Yes he’s a good young player no doubt. But if the Canucks are moving Hronek we should be going for a legit proven top 6 winger to play with Pettersson, not someone we hope develops into one

Edit: mistyped it as a Hronek trade not a Demko trade. But the Canucks wouldn’t be moving Demko unless it’s a huge overpay with a star forward coming back. Again Knies doesn’t fit that

I think Knies will end up being a good top 6 player, but the Canucks need someone that can be that right now. That’s why I’d target someone like Ehlers, Necas, or Buchnevich

Clearly the Leafs would do that and solve the goaltending issues overnight. If it were that easy theyd have already done it.

??? Where did I say the leafs had a goaltending issue in the first place? Look through my history if need be... I think they should stick with Woll and find a 1B for him in FA... Stolarz or DeSmith or Talbot and give Hildeby a few games

Demko's gotten hurt just as many times in the playoffs as Woll though... If not more in less games... Especially with this injury log: https://www.foxsports.com/nhl/thatcher-demko-player-injuries

Leafs don't want or need him and you're not getting Knies or Minten...
