Depending on what Hronek wants on his extension and be willing to extend in Winnipeg, it could work 1 for 1.

I would be very interested in bringing Hronek in on the Leafs. My offer is 7.25m x 8 years though. if he want's more I pass.

I offer 1st + lily. I really hope the Leafs keep Robertson. I like him too much.

He would be a perfect addition for the Leafs. Not sure what you are on. Leafs need more than one D. We will also need a high end defensive RD. We can make the cap work by getting both.

The one issue I have with Hronek is the amount he and his camp wants

8-8.5m is way to much for him and I dont see him going much lower. Maybe 7.5m but for him thats still to much IMO

Hronek is 4 years younger. I would offer him 7.25m x 8 years. Montours contract will go until he is OLD OLD.

And not every dman needs to be big and mean. We went into the playoffs with Edmundson, Bush and Benoit. All 3 are solid individually. But they are all offensive black holes. Biggest reason why we couldn't score. We need to add more offense from our D, will making sure we still have toughness and size.

McCabe-Hronek
Gustafsson-Tanev or Lily
Benoit-Timmins/Niemela

Good combo of physicality and scoring.

I like Hronek but the Hurricanes probably need a forward back a trade for Necas... if it was future assets then sure let's talk about a Hronek deal

Silovs is not touchable in an Ehlers Hronek swap
