Or CAR can just trade Orlov elsewhere for what he’s actually worth. Orlov for Zamula one for one is even a stretch, having CAR add a 3rd is hilarious.

CAR isn’t doing that trade, so you should probably think of something realistic.

Canes aren’t moving Orlov when 3 other guys could be leaving as well. Trading Orlov doesn’t mean those other guys get extended and they’re not turning over 2/3 of their d corps in an offseason.

Yes, and they wouldn't trade him for 3rd, depending on team, but later first is the starting point. And don't know if that'd be enough, as Danny said @TDL, they're not gonna trade him for "fair value".

Throw in the towel, we aint getting a 1st. Poehling and Cates should be locked in to 3C duties or at least on the line. Gaining 3M to place elsewhere and avoid LTIR is worth it.

I think the case is more likely just that they ain't trading him. They value him (too) highly for anyone to pay the price.
