That's a strong no from the caps. Only way the caps move Lapierre is in a package for a young (under 25) top 6 forward. Otherwise he stays.

Canucks easily pass on the Ottawa deal. Pettersson is worth a lot more than Brady and a high risk contract in Norris

I mean, if there's going to be another wave of Jenner trades, at least it's coming from folks other than the Leafs and Sabres. On the other hand, he's still not available, as has been repeatedly explicitly made clear by everyone from beat writers to the front office to the ownership to Jenner himself.
