Anybody's better than Kempny in the top 4 but that's not the point. Hawks don't have space for Maatta's contract anyways.

Here's the thing. This would be awesome. As long as Maatta can stay healthy I'd take him. But, I wouldn't necessarily want Pouliot, because we have some young D like Forsling. Maybe replace Pouliot with Rust and a 3rd. I don't really want to get rid of Schmaltz though. Maybe Hayden and a 2nd and a prospect for Maatta.

The Hawks with their cap issues need all they have ELCs to have good seasons with the Hawks. Pouilet isn't an NHLer and Maatta, 4m $$ Dmen are relatively easy to find. You don't have top trade for them.

We could fill the role with a better player at this moment in time for less. No need to chase another teams prospects.
