Short answer is no. It's a big stretch. You just don't see those multi-player trades like that. And I don't see Col trading MacKinnon when they pretty much have to trade Duchene at this point.

I'm not a Montreal fan but looking at all the armchair teams for MTL it seems like most of them are trading away Pacioretty. Folks losing faith in him or what?

No these trades are not realistic. Unfortunately, Montreal needs to start the rebuild now and trade off players for draft picks.

Not realistic and I say that without knowing anything about MTLs prospects Lindgren and Scherbak.
Everything Philadelphia is doing with their goalies now is just a waiting game until Hart takes over the GT duties. They are hoping he is the franchise goalie and hedged bets with all the other goalies they drafted. Sanheim is viewed like Gostisbehere but with a higher overall ceiling, and they just extended "Ghost". The Flyers are also fairly high on Koneckny since they traded up in the draft to get him and had a decent rookie season with more expected. The Flyers would find some other way to unload MacDonald's terrible contract.

@fatwater , no we are not loosing faith in him but it's a player who can bring us a big centre like we need . he is a 30+ goals every years have a more than decent contract 4.5m for next 2 years so his value is realy high right now ,Buy low sell high , it's the time to sell him his value can never be higher than now . and we stil have Drouin and Lekonen as top 6 left wing ,it give us the big centre we are looking for to help Galchenyuk and gallager on right wing with an open spot in top 6 , we have Hudon, Reway or Scherbak who have to beat Hemsky for this spot

What is with all the Leafs fans and thinking we need to go into a rebuild. We need to go into a rebuild about as much as a team like the Capitals. We still have a few years of contention before the rebuild should start. In any event we can't waste Price's prime years rebuilding.
