Description
After Bergevin gets fired, Habs will sign a gm who starts immediately fixing the mistakes the previous gm did. Season 2017-18 will be just solving the "quagmire".

Additional Details:
In a longer scale for Habs, Weber's big contract will cause more harm than benefit. Now, when he still is quite a valuable player, it's perfect time to trade him for great future assets, as the team is going to be in rebuilding state. Lehterä is included to the trade mostly as a cap dump?

Additional Details:
If Flyers wants to be successful, they need a leading defenseman, since their defense is quite young. Weber would be great addition in that effect - he'll strengthen the team even further and brings quite a massive amount of leadership into the team. Also Hemsky will bring some depth to their offense.

Additional Details:
It seems that Tavares won't be resigning with NYI, since he wants to be in a winning team. Habs, in a rebuilding state, wants to take Tavares and give him a chance to be the leading part with the new Habs, by acquiring him and offering a massive 8-year deal with a cap hit of $10.5M dollars. They also wants a young prospect from Isles, and Beauviller is just what they are aiming for. Kulemin is added to the trade as a cap dump.

Additional Details:
Isles and Tavares are about to part their ways. However, Isles do not want to give him away freely, and so they decide to sell him to Montreal with big price: a decent forward and a d-man (who must waive his NMC, just assuming he will do it), two great prospects and first round pick. This way, Isles will replace the assets they'd lose anyway.

Oilers needs a decent goal scorer to play alongside with McDavid, and from Pacioretty, they'd get a great one.

macarron is in the ahl, still, hardly adds to preds offence. bieksa has a nmc. so you give trade all that for tavares and then he doesn't resign.

Yeah, McCarron would probably go to AHL. I just assumed that these NMC's would be waived. And that Tavares thing would be just ironic laugh

Gallagher is worth a 1st alone and is on a great contract. Mccarron is still young and if we were rebuilding, we wouldnt really need to get rid of him. Let him strive under a new coach
