ROUND 1TEAMORIGINALPLAYERDETAILS
1Logo of the Montreal Canadiens-Hughes has stated he's gonna take wright, and I just don't really see Montreal passing up on him
2Logo of the New Jersey Devils-New Jersey don't really need another center
3Logo of the Arizona Coyotes-Best player available and has the most marketability for a dying franchise
4Logo of the Seattle Kraken-Seattle is reportedly very high on him, and I think it's a safe pick
5Logo of the Philadelphia Flyers-Philly could use a young rhd like jiricek, but I wouldn't be surprised if they took savoie
6Logo of the Columbus Blue JacketsLogo of the Chicago BlackhawksMost likely a steal at 6th
7Logo of the Ottawa Senators-Ottawa seem to be garbage at drafting and I can definitely see them taking an overrated player like this, though I'm not saying he won't be a good NHL player some day
8Logo of the Detroit Red Wings-Just giving me Yzerman vibes tbh
9Logo of the Buffalo Sabres-Best player available and could be a steal at 9th

EDIT: I just read the news and reportedly the Habs are high on Slafkovsky. But Wright makes more sense.

I agree with your top 6, but I think OTT goes with Kemell
They already have Norris Stutzle Pinto at C while they lack scoring wingers
I also think Nazar goes before Yurov and Lambert

Plus Greig can play center and Ostaputch looks really good.

Also, I don't think you've seen any one of their drafts. I think a lot of people can agree with this but Ottawa has an amazing track record of drafting and developing players. Batherson was a fourth round pick. Dzingal was a 7th round pick. Stone was a 5th round pick.

I think that they'll also go with a scoring winger but Dorian might be attracted by Geekie's size but whatever happens I think Ottawa will do decent in there draft.

Ostaputch, Johanson, and Latimer all look like pretty good players and they are from the last draft. I don't think that you can say that Ottawa is bad at drafting of one pick.

Every teams has player who looks really good a couple years after they get drafted. We really need to see them at the NHL level. Some rare prospect are doing really good stuff : Exemple : Joshua Roy with Montreal, Logan Stankoven with Dallas, Topi Niemila with Toronto. But until they play in the NHL, they remain prospects
