<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Artman91</b></div><div>To my fellow Kings fans, especially oldNYIfan, I obviously don’t want to trade Iafallo or Arvidsson. Especially Iafallo but it’s extremely tough not to when we need to sign a #1 Goalie and resign Vilardi. I would prefer Vilardi over Iafallo. With our salary circumstances it would be near impossible to have a “better” team on paper compared to previous season. Our key for this season is Byfield. He needs to step up big time! Kaliyev needs to have a consistent season, Fiala needs to stay healthy, we have to hope Turcotte can overcome is injuries and develop. He needs to be at the worst a decent 4th liner. Clarke needs to step up and have “Rookie of the year” type season. Schenn and Lucic have to show others that we’re not scared to throw the body. Jarry needs to have his best season of his career. Kopitar and Doughty must maintain last season numbers or better. Vilardi and Kempe need to continue their offensive forces. Moore needs to have a bounce back season.</div></div>
Thanks for the thoughtful shout-out.

I really like your explanation here and your strategic plan. I'm with you right up to Tristan Jarry, who isn't the answer, in my opinion. It will be interesting to see how Rob Blake addresses the problem. The Boston guys are always trading us Linus Ullmark for Sean Durzi and something, so it will be interesting to see whether he's really on the market. I think that we have a sufficient number of quality forwards that we don't have to make all of those moves (two free-agent signings and the Kubalik trade). I'd be happy to get the Edmonton first from Nashville rather than #15 because I think that that's where the LhD prospects will start showing up and I think that's much more likely to be within our reach. But it's clear to me that you're absolutely right, that to solve our roster and cap problems, one of Arvidsson or Iafallo has to go. It's a reality we have to face.
