This is the year
I don't see Lee taking a 1 year deal. I'd love for the B's to get him, but I think with him being in his prime, that he'll want a multi year deal for more than 6. I'm thinking 6x7.

McAvoy at the most will get 7. Johansson won't get more than 4.5, and the report is that he may take a discount. Panarin wont get more than 9. Heinen is moved to make room on the cap for Panarin.

The wind blows and Miller is injured, this drastically hurts his value. Moore is worth more than Miller. Panarin will at the most will get 9, like Skinner, and Schenn is for right handed defensive depth, which is a need in this scenario.

McAvoy isn't getting more than 7, and a bridge deal is perfect for Carlo (think Auston Matthews). Johansson's last contract was for 4.5, and the report is that he may be willing to take a discount to stay.

With the shortage of centers in the league especially 2nd line centers Vegas could certainly get something better then that for him.</div></div>
He declined so much this year and they are in no position to really get much for him.

So then with Donato's potential, there is more reason to trade Heinen

Uh, I beg to differ. He had 43 points in 29 games with Harvard last year, in addition to playing in the Olympics, and 9 point in 12 NHL games last year. Yes he had a rough start with the Bruin this year, but he has been phenomenal in Providence.

Well Andersson is going to be ready in 1-2 years, so maybe losing Carlo, and then go with 4 LHD since that's a strength and since we have guys that are good on their offside

Miller will not play 1st pairing anywhere without injuries, Leafs included. Zaitsev and maybe Hainsey would play ahead of him on right side. And they are nothing special.
I think it’s funny that you think a 1st and Carlo is not enough yet you offer less and think it’s good.</div></div>
In my opinion, I think that these two trades are somewhat equal. Carlo is a good defenseman, and could help the Leafs, but trading him would really hurt the Bruins, as he is a huge part of the future on the right side.

Columbus has to resign both Panarin and Bobrovsky this offseason, they won't have the cap space to keep both, so why not try to get something for one of them?

Because, if Toronto can't sign Nylander, they'll want to get something for him, and if Boston has the best offer, I don't see why they wouldn't take it. Also, they have traded with each other before, Phil Kessel for Tyler Seguin.

The bruins are in no place to start rebuilding at all, especially with the young talent that is NHL ready or will be ready in 1-2 years.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Propeller09</b></div><div>This is also not nearly enough. Like, miles apart.
As you said, Heinen is top 9 - I like him, but I don't see him becoming a top line guy, ever. A late 1st round pick is nice, but likely a guy who wouldn't play in the NHL for 2-3 years (if at all). we're not talking about a lottery pick and a veteran who can't seem to crack get off the 4th line of the Bruins for 3m x 3years? That For one of the best players in the game?
Panarin would cost at least one, probably two (depending on who) of (Donato, Heinen, Bjork, Debrusk) - Plus a 1st rd pick and another legit prospect (studnicka, Frederic, JFK, Vaakananan, Zboril).
If you added Backes to the deal (at this point he has negative value - even at 3m (he has NO points through 12 games and doesn't look good). Also, Backes probably doesn't waive to go to CBJ
The deal you proposed is less than what they gave up for 35 year old Rick Nash who was clearly on the back 9 of his career.</div></div>
Yes, however, if a deal does not happen, Columbus will become desperate to make a trade so that they can get something for Panarin.

Would you take that for say Pasta? Nylander is no Pasta but I wouldn’t take that for Bjork.
You are not getting Nylander without CMac or Carlo going the other way. Pass. Other options.</div></div>
Bjork is a 3rd liner. Toronto's defense is a dumpster fire, and Kevan Miller could play top pairing their. Bruins are retaining half of Backes' salary. Maybe Senyshyn turns around in Toronto's system

Heinen’s spot is not blocking him. Nylander would slot in at RW2 with Debrusk going back to LW2 and Nordstrom going back to LW4.
The bigger problem is coming up with the cap space to sign Nylander, and coming up with the cap the following year for the UFAs.
I don’t like it in general.
Rather go after Toffoli. Cheaper, better fit.</div></div>
Eh, Toffoli is 26 and wont be here for long with the bruins prospect situation, where as Nylander is younger and is worth sacrificing some young talent for
