My predictions based on absolutely nothing but a whim.

- D Alex Pietrangelo signs with WPG a 7 year deal with the cap hit of $10,714,285 (basically 7y, $75M deal) as they need a clear cut 1D and some veteran leadership.
- LW Taylor Hall signs with NSH a 7 year deal with the cap hit of $9,285,714 (basically 7y, $65M deal) as they need a leading star forward.
- D Torey Krug re-signs with BOS a 6 year deal with the cap hit of $7,000,000 as they've no reason to let him go and he's an important part of their roster.
- D Tyson Barrie signs with NJ a 6 year deal with the cap hit of $7,000,000 as they need some more offense and Subban sucks too much nowadays to bring what they need.
- G Braden Holtby signs with CGY a 5 year deal with the cap hit of $7,000,000 as they've lacked a great goalie for a while and they need one for future playoff runs.
- G Robin Lehner re-signs with VGK a 6 year deal with the cap hit of $6,750,000 as they need a future goalie and Fleury seems to be on the decline. I'd expect them to move Fleury to some other team.
- RW Mike Hoffman signs with CBJ 6 year deal with the cap hit of $6,750,000 as they need some goal scoring help.
- RW Evgeni Dadonov signs with ARI a 5 year deal with the cap hit of $6,250,000 as they need someone to replace Hall.
- G Jacob Markström re-signs with VAN a 5 year deal with the cap hit of $5,750,000 as they really can't afford to lose their 1G...Demko's not ready yet and Markstöm is just too important
- RW Tyler Toffoli re-signs with VAN a 1 year covid-affected deal with the cap hit of $4,750,000 for obvious reasons.
