Pass from Detroit. Not interested in Ristolainen and especially if it costs Mantha.

the "+ a pick" would have to be the 8OA pick for all three of these trades

Is the pick 8th overall in the Calgary deal, because if not that ain't happening.

Probably wouldn't happen even with 8th overall.

But Dave is onto something for sure, you can fix a team pretty quickly by ripping other teams off in trades. Easy peasy smile

Risto doesnt even hold a candle to Lindholm's value. Try again

I don't get the RIsto for Ehlers deals that have been floating around.
I like Risto and I think's he's better than most say he is, but he has 2 years left on his deal while Ehlers who is awesome has 5 years left on his deal.
I know there was a "plus a pick" added to the deal on the sabers side, but I still think that's a huge loss for the jets.

Lindholm would be the most interesting option

Hard pass from Calgary. Brian Burke said himself the Flames want nothing to do with Rasmus Ristolainen

First off Detroit is set at RD so Ristolainen isn't a need, And 2 years of Ristolainen isn't getting you 8 years of Mantha so the plus had better be huge. Detroit' not dealing Mantha especially not for a person we don't need. Buffalo and Detroit don't make good trading partners when it comes to Anthony Mantha.

What Buffalo needs to understand is that the only people in hockey who think Risto has value are the Pegulas!

Every other team has enough advanced analytics to realize that he is simply not very good and definitely not worth any of these players - even with the 8th OA pick!
