Can everyone before making these “offers” just look at this dudes stats and contracts. Fitz isn’t a guy that’s gonna look at a guy at 5.5 thats only good for maybe 20 goals and start tossing away premium assets. Reading Canadiens AGMs are always an read. Not in a good way lol

I know Minnesota is high on him but also seen ppl proposing possible kaprizov trades so idk what’s really going on with the future considering the dead cap. Think Seattle would pay a nice price for Severson because he’d be the pp1 qb too. Thought firkus and a 3rd

Didn’t mean both firsts. Just the one. But Vemelka has term and they are in need of a solid number two. Ritchie has been good and is on a good contract and he’s physical which is something drury values. And you drop the three contracts on arizona

We’re talking about a guys rights here. He’s not under contract long term and Tampa isnt a team with a bunch of cap flexibility. Tampa also doesn’t seem like a team that risks paying long term for small sample sizes of production and who plays 3rd line minutes

TOP 10 FROM 2005 AT END OF CAREER RANKED
Kopitar at two then the list is accurate. Yes price won a gold medal. No kopitar never got to play on a competitive national team. Kopitar was honestly most likely the most underrated player in the league for most of his career due to the west cost and his Slovenian nationality. The resume says it all highlighted by the two cup wins which he was a massive part of

Honestly I think the devils should have interest in a guy like nick foligno. I think foligno plus the bruins second round pick this year could get it done

Like talk about dudes with baggage. And then trading down into the 20s.
Let’s just stop talking bout this pick being traded unless Matthew Tkachuk is involved

I guess ur right. They did offer sheet like within a few years I believe it was 2 or even the next offseason. Nashville never came back at Philly I don’t believe

Well cause the devils can afford the risk and it’s one that has the chance to pay out. Look at the steps Hughes took this year. Why couldn’t Kakko take his own version of that next year. Maybe being like a 50 point guy

If Boston Had to Blow it Up
After thought I just don’t think NJ would let the potential of Holtz smith and whoever they pick for pasta. Even tho he is insanely talented the thought of the potential value going to Boston probably makes them decline. I believe in proven talent but a lot more potential talent spaced out between three guys is going the other way. Hypothetically it’s Logan Cooley, Alexander Holtz and ty smith for pasta.

Honestly I think the devils would consider. Especially and mostly if that came with an extension and probably 8.5 to 9 million for 8 years. Really would be tough to pass up those assets but I think that would be a long thought out decision

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BlackwoodForVezina</b></div><div>you did not offer sheet kakko</div></div>
U put him at RW 1 with Hughes. At 4.2x5 it would pay big dividends. Most Rangers ACGM’s thing he’s getting a bridge around 3 million. If your telling me we can have Slafkovsky and a 2023 second or Nemec and Kakko I’m taking the second option

Myers trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NHLfan10506</b></div><div>Its been six years since the Devils have taken on a cap dump to acquire an asset. I don't think Fitzy considers the Myers deal, especially since he has Luke, Mukhamadullin and Walsh set to arrive over the next year (and perhaps Nemec too).
I wouldn’t say he’s a bad cap dump. I see him as a guy paying 2 million more than he’s worth per year and if u can acquire a first for next years draft for him then ur essentially paying 4 million for that. Mukhamadullin and Hughes are both LHD that have been pushed to the right. I think NJ would rather play them on the left eventually.</div></div>
