Price for Boeser
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Clement</b></div><div>Wild aren't going to be trading dumba, neither do they want boeser</div></div>
And if they did, they wouldn't pay the extra price of both 1st round picks plus the 2nd rounder. Personally, we don't need Boeser, Kaprizov and Fiala with Zuccarello included, eventually Boldy will be taking a top six wing. Rossi should stick at 2C possibly 1C depending on who Guerin can get and how good they are. It's hard to see Rossi not on the roster as a top 6 pivot by the beginning of the 2022-23 season opener. And it is possible that Eriksson Ek gets a spot in the top 6 but his face off win percentage needs to improve. If I'm Guerin after the buyouts, I'm being cautious about any trade especially not knowing how long Kaprizov and Fiala are willing to stick around. He has a lot of spots to fill with limited cap space that gets way more limited the 3 years after next season.

Minne regret renting Hall
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BrodinCheerD</b></div><div>Because wild don't need or want Taylor hall. you are dreaming.
Not living in reality</div></div>
Dude is obviously a Sabres fan. No normal fan would just randomly think it is smart to trade Rossi and a first to Buffalo for renting Hall. We have Kaprizov Fiala and Ek to re-sign plus a ton of other RFAs and only 22 mil in cap space to do so. 22 mil to sign at least 9 contracts and between the 3 I listed above that will cost at least 15 million, leaving 7 mil to sign 6 more players. This guy is clueless beyond all reasonable doubt.

Minne regret renting Hall
Seriously even as a joke this is wildly ridiculous. Including Rossi and a first for this rental? The wild aren't giving up the player they just selected for a rental winger they can't afford to resign. Honestly this move makes no sense at all. Might as well just trade Rossi for future considerations at that point.

My End-of-February Mock Draft
You said the wild are set at forward depth. Have you looked at their center depth? Center needs to be priority still.

Price to Avs
I think the Avs would rather keep their assets than commit to Prices contract. The only reason they lost to Dallas is because of all the injuries.

Wild modified rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SammyT_51</b></div><div>Best case scenario is like 4th rounder for Galch. Staal would be best like 2nd with conditions.</div></div>
Unless Galchenyuk starts to light it up, no contender is going to want to take his cap hit without retaining salary. It's not likely for him to be traded and possibly not get extended either. It might simply be just a cap dump and why Guerin wanted Addison thrown in for Zucker. Dumba and Brodin are the most wanted on the market from the wild. But trading Brodin is a bad idea and selling low on Dumba is a terrible idea. Only way both happen is if it is full rebuild time and that is highly unlikely for multiple obvious reasons. If he trades either blueliner it needs to be for an offer that you cant say no to.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DiehardRedWingsFan58</b></div><div>Unrealistic? They're :laugh bad for both Carolina and Colorado. Doubt you get a 1st for Galchenyk let alone Newhook And if Carolina gives up their 1st it's for a top 4 Dman not for Eric Freaking Staal.</div></div>
Stranger things have happened. Fenton traded Nino for Rask. Fiala was a good pickup but Fenton had to be talked out of trading more than just Granny for Fiala alone. Hence, the whole reason I said they are probably unrealistic. So, you're really just pointing out the obvious.

Yes I do realize the trades are probably unrealistic but I was aiming for the best case scenario.

Part of me can see this happening
"You can drive posession til the cows come home but if you don't capitalize does it matter?"
I get what you mean but it's also pretty difficult to capitalize when you don't drive posession. Zuckers point totals are also exclusively on a wild team that never really has go to goal scorers. The pens have Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel and Rust, plus some. Almost any player would produce more in that top 6 lineup. And Zuckers speed is something that would add to that potency. When he is on his game he actually does throw some pretty good hits on the forecheck for a guy his size. I mean he actually blasted Seabrook off his skates which is pretty impressive given the size difference. All in all I think he would fit in pretty well with the Pens organization.

Gold
Lol that will never happen. Please tell me this is a joke, Ek centers a checking line that has been shutting down the leagues top scoring lines. Spurgeon is criminally underrated and Staal is on a very very team friendly deal. Literally the only player we would be getting back in return of any value would be Domi. Sorry but this proposal makes no sense at all for the wild. Really, Kovalchuk? That was the most ridiculous part of this one sided trade. Do you really think the wild need another veteran winger when we already need to make room for Kaprizov? And seriously trading 2 of our top 3 centers and 1 top pairing defenseman? You are obviously a Montreal fan because this is the opposite of realistic trade expectations by a wide margin.
