Ducks
The Ducks will probably low-ball Rakell and give him a 1-year "show me" contract. Since they don't have arbitration rights, no need to give Rakell a big contract based on one, 20-goal season. He will probably get a 1-year, $2M contract and have to prove he can score 20 goals consistently.
Same thing will probably happen to Lindholm (with a higher salary), but would be nice to get him locked up for 6-8 years around $5-6M/per.

Add Some Bruins and Holland = Stanley Cup?
Chara - He would have to waive his NMC to come to Anaheim so I don't think it would be valid during the expansion (similar to how Lubo waived his, but was traded to NYI). If it would, yeah the trade probably doesn't work. Ducks have young, puck moving defensemen, but need a big body and Stoner isn't reliable. Manson is physical, but not in the same punishing way as Chara. Chara brings a big, physical presence as well as veteran leadership that the Ducks will need in the playoffs. Plus, if Bruins retain salary, you are getting a good player for decent salary (his salary goes down another $2M in the final year of his contract.)
Despres - Don't think Despres would be worth more than Elias. I doubt the Canes make that trade, but maybe they are trying to rebuild and picks look more valuable to them. If you are worried that Despres will have more value, don't think it will be more than E. Lindholm even at any point in the season.
Tanguay/Hudler - Ducks already had their cheap, veteran (Raymond). They weren't good enough last year and we will need at least 1 (preferable 2) young wingers to take the next step. Adding another stop-gap veteran forward won't help this group.

Scary Ducks
All three of those trades are lopsided for the Ducks (plus no way Cogs and Bieksa waive their NTC/NMC to go to Buffalo)
Also, you wipe out all of the veteran depth on the defense. Don't think Holzer is the answer as a full-time NHL player and if you have one injury, you are going to be in trouble.

If you offer sheet Lindholm to $7.5M x 8 years the compensation would be 4 x 1st round picks so yeah...Ducks will probably let you have him for four possible lottery picks.

How About Another One
I would argue that is probably a slight over payment on the Ducks part. Red Wings have wingers and Ducks have defense. Fowler and a third for Tatar is fair and I'd prefer to keep Montour over Mantha, but he isn't going to hop Theodore on the depth chart.
Montour had more points as a defensemen than Mantha did in each of their best years in the AHL.
Montour: 12 goals, 45 assists (57 points) in 68 games
Mantha; 15 goals, 18 assists (33 points) in 62 games
Montour is ready to be tested in the NHL, but no room for him on the Ducks. They need help on the wing.

Anaheims possible signings
Lindholm will be $5M+
Rakell will maybe get around $2M for a 1 year. Maybe 2, but not 3.
Don't think Ducks sign PIrri. They would have given him a qualifying offer if they wanted to give him $1.125M.
Ducks are going to need to move at least one of Fowler, Despres, Stoner or Bieksa.
That lineup overall is very bad.

Don't think the Ducks will move Lindholm, Larsson and a pick for $10M+ in salary.
Also, not sure why you gave Matthews $4M/year.
Maybe Fowler for JVR is more likely, but I"m guessing that would have happened already if they wanted.

I agree. I don't think Montreal parts with Gallagher especially with his contract (less than $4M until 2021? Solid). But to be fair, our third line is actually the second scoring line. The 2nd line is more of a shutdown line so pretty interchangeable.
On a side note, adding Hudler does seem like a very Murray-esque move. Underwhelming. I really hope we use Fowler and our 1st round pick to land a solid LW. And not just keep rotating random veterans in and out (Raymond, Perron, Stewart, McGinn...)

Yeah. I'm more of a Ducks fan so wasn't sure on Quenneville. Its funny. Ottawa says no thanks and Devils say that is an over payment.
Ryan has only regressed since he left Anaheim and Ottawa sent Silf, Noesen and a 1st for him. If they could flip that for Camm, a former 1st round pick and two seconds, I think they would do that for sure.

If you can get Duchene, this looks pretty good, but even adding some prospects, I don't think Colorado does this.
If something like this does happen, this would look great. Lines would probably solid 1st, young and creative 2nd, shutdown 3rd, who knows 4th.
Ritchie / Getz / Perry
Rakell / Duchene / Silf
Garbutt / Kesler / Cogs
Raymond / Wagner / Boll
Defense looks good if Despres can get healthy.

I wonder what the Ducks could get if they tried to move Silf, Manson and two 2nds. Definitely more than Tatar. Huge over payment.
Also, I've seen Manson added to a couple of different trade proposals. No way he is moved. Too valuable with his cap hit.

There should be no reason to move Josh Manson. Since his cap hit is so low and he was such an effective partner with Lindholm, you can't move him especially not as a throw away/added piece.

I don't think Ducks move Lindholm. He's too valuable and plays a more complete game than Fowler. Fowler is more expendable and doesn't have as high of a ceiling as Lindholm.
Fowler would be a great #2 behind Johnson or Barrie, but not the same level as Landy so adding in Montour, a solid prospect and a couple of picks.

Let's Make a Deal, Detroit.
Unfortunately (and sometimes fortunately), Ducks have an internal cap and can't add any more salary without moving Fowler, Stoner or Bieksa. Theodore looked very solid last year and will be with the big club for a majority of the season. Other than Lindholm, Theodore is probably the most untouchable of the Ducks defensemen.
He is protected from the expansion draft and on an entry level contract. You'd have to send over Larkin and work out picks on either side to make that happen in my opinion. That's how valuable Theodore is.
Nyquist is a little expensive for my tastes and I would prefer Tatar. But any deal for an NHL player from the Ducks is going to require Fowler or Stoner going the other way and I can't imagine the Wings want the Stone Man.

I wasn't 100% sure on Athanasiou or Mantha's ceilings so kind of took a guess. What if Ducks added a solid defensive prospect like Montour? Also, wouldn't Fowler be your #2 behind maybe Kronwall?

What will Murray do now?
This looks good at first. But Hampus is going to get somewhere from $4.8M-$5.5M I'm guessing. So that number is low and Ducks won't spend that much of the salary. I like the idea of Eriksson, but not sure how it gets done without moving either Fowler or Bieksa in addition to Stoner and Despres. (You also probably need to add a 2nd with Despres for Yak as Edmonton knows we need to shed some salary).

The Perron / Getz / Stewart line was clicking pretty well until Stewart broke his jaw. If Ritchie can take a step forward, I really like having two scoring lines and Stewart is a good, cheap option for the wing.

I know the Ducks are a cap team so might need to move Andersen, but it would be good to keep both goalies for now as Gibson has a bit of an injury history. Also, hoping the cap will increase $1M-$3M this year to give them a little more space.

Not bad, but I don't think the Ducks deal Vatanen for Pouliot. If their salary hit is similar Ducks would be better off keeping Vatanen in my opinion. I'd rather they try and get your 1st round pick somehow (wishful thinking I know) and use the money saved on Vatanen to resign Perron.

Updated: Shipped Stoner to Arizona.
I agree with the internal cap. It would be nice to go out and try and spend a little extra especially in this case where you could possibly get 2, first round picks (which would be great cost controlled, protected assets for the Expansion Draft).
I think Fowler has been great, but his skill set seems redundant with Lindholm, Theodore and possibly Montour and Larson coming up.
Vatanen has more offensive upside and can quarterback the power play (something that Fowler has not been shown able to do). When push comes to shove, I'd rather give Vats $4M over keeping Fowler.
Etem is awful (as a first/second liner), but I really like him as a bottom six guy (younger Cogliano) who can occasionally move up if needed. I like that he is local and think he needs another shot. Hopefully some confidence would do him well, plus he's got a good motor and nice forechecker. A fourth line of Garbutt, Wager and Etem would provide great energy and all of them are quick and can get in on the forecheck.
