Yeah I could see hall making anywhere from 5.5-6 and Coleman anywhere from 4.5-5.5 but we’ll see! I definitely wouldn’t mind this team at all!

I'd want DeBrusk to take on Moore's contract.

Boston fans have taken Tuukka for granted for years. I can't wait til they find out that the next guy isn't going to be as good Tuukka.

I don't want him gone, and I have been a huge tuukka supporter, but If he's getting traded, they better get something good.

Their job is not to hit, it's to get the puck to the/in the net. Who cares if they're not physical, leave that to Wagner and Kuraly.
'14-15 is 5 years ago and NJ didn't have any chance against TB in '18.

Lol even on the PP, Palmier is better.</div></div>
Palmieri would be an excellent fit for the Bs style of play & the cost seems spot on if you're being fair. May even prove to be a bargain, depending on time of year & extention possibility. He's a sure thing, a proven commodity... the others have questions (Kase) or speculative value. Bs want to win now, not speculate.

Making everything to win this tear
The Hall - Palmieri reunion would make devs fans lose their minds. Its an interesting idea and the B's have been linked to both players. It would be surprising to see them turnover that much, but if they got one im sure they would get calls/have interest in the other. EDM trade is solid/creative, which it needs to be. Good stuff

Backes a P-Bruin
I think they were hoping Backes would retire on LTIR last year. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility for that to happen. It just takes one training camp "concussion" and problem solved.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MisstheWhalers</b></div><div>At most I could see the Sens retaining would be $2.25M, maybe they take Miller for the season idk.
Would all depend on Backes waiving though which isn't likely to happen.
This is the kind of move that would appeal to Melnyk though.. Lol.. The Sens must be a money losing organization to be constantly looking for these cheap contracts.
Pretty sure I heard somewhere that Zaitsev is only getting paid $1.5M this season so I'm guessing that's why Ottawa wanted him but I'm not sure how his contract works next season, if he's due his full $4.5M I wouldn't be surprised to see Zaitsev on the move again.. Lol</div></div>
That’s just it. They can pay 22.5m over 3 years to Ryan for mediocre production on a mediocre team. Or the so something like this retain 3m on Ryan, buyout Backes and it saves 11m out of pocket, plus they add a couple of decent assets. The retention and buyout cap hit help them stay above the cap floor the next couple of years while keeping payroll down and they can play the kids getting their feet wet for when it’s time for them to actually make some noise.
