You can have Thompson instead if you want him.</div></div>
Bergevin would definitely be very tempted by this years first that’s for sure.

Petry is what the leafs need, Nylander would be a nice addition to the habs wing but Petry and Domi to a division rival, no thanks.

Danault
You’re missing the point of any possibility of us trading Danault or Domi. We’re doing it because we have too many centres. Why would we trade Danault for another centre especially one that hasn’t shown much promise. You’re a division rival if you ain’t giving up this years first then don’t even pick up the phone.

I mean I can see where you’re coming from but I really just see ya waiting it out a bit with our D situation. Kulak actually played well in the playoffs and we’re definitely banking on Romanov coming in this year and having an impact. Norlinder, Harris, Struble all are showing great signs of becoming NHL players. Our centre position is much better we really just need some top 6 wingers.

Keeping Anderson
Our left side isn’t as bad as a lot of people may think and we have some promising prospects coming up, I don’t see us moving Domi for an injury prone D even if he has good potential if he’s healthy. Jenner doesn’t have enough offensive upside and we have enough bottom 6 pieces. Makes more sense to keep Domi.

Reset Completed
Poolparty isn’t needed with Caufield coming soon. The forward lineup is very solid. I know the Ehlers trade has been thrown around a lot and people seem to think the value isn’t there one for one, it’s a trade that makes sense for both teams and if the habs need to sweeten the pot I’d add in Fleury and a pick.
I like the additions of Hall and Killorn, that third line would be a tough ass line to play against and every one of the lines could put up some goals.
This is one of the best lineups I’ve seen. With Caufield, Ylonen and those two first rounders this draft we will still have some great options in the future. Harris, Norlinder, Struble all could be fighting for positions when Chiarot and Kulak expire. Future looks bright!!

trade up
This is an interesting trade for the Habs. I’ve suggested this a couple times in the past. Acquiring Deangelo could allow us to get younger on D and move Petry. Presently I think the habs will keep Petry and extend him for a few years, he’s been a stud in Montreal and loves the city.
Definitely an interesting trade and one I’d consider long and hard if I was Berge.

First of all Habs have ZERO interest in Zadorov, and second of all Danault is worth wayyy more than just Z. We won’t move him for nothing so if you want him you’re overpaying for him.

Online rumors UFA
Domi isn’t getting traded for Middlestadt. The reason why we’d trade Domi is because we don’t need a centre and also Casey hasn’t proven **** yet. Domi (and a sweetner) for the 8th overall. Say what you want about value but Buffalo is desperate for the playoffs and need a good player now not in two years. This would be the same situation and Pittsburgh’s overpay for Kapanen.
Again I’m not saying this would happen just saying it’s what Bergevin would want if Buffalo comes asking about Domi.

Colorado Garage Sale - give me your best offers
Colorado is on the right path to success, patience might be the best solution. Byram and Newhook are going to be great players. At the same time this team is a legit contender now, if Grubauer was healthy I think they move on. I might be wrong with this statement but the lack of scoring from the third and fourth line will hurt you in the playoffs. Add a veteran winger and get a more balanced attack, Nate is amazing but like McDavid and Drai in Edmonton they can’t win you every game. With the prospect pool they have pick one and a first and get a veteran scorer.

Umm I’m going to disagree with you on that one. You’re not giving Danault enough credit, this guy is a legit top 5 Selke candidate who can play a big shut down role in the playoffs. Ehlers is good but you’re acting like he’s an 80+ point player when he’s a 60 point player. Tatar may be 30 but the guy has plenty of game left and puts up just as many points as Ehlers.

8th overall would make the decision very hard. Danault is the ideal shutdown centre for the playoffs so it would come down to Berge’s trust in KK.

domi again
This move puts the habs further into rebuild. Domi gets moved for a player who’s going to contribute now. You want Domi it’s either Ehlers or Laine with pieces added. You want to improve your C we want to improve our wings.
My counter is Domi and Fleury for Ehlers.
This is more than fair Domi can put up as many points or more than Ehlers and plays centre. Fleury is added to make sure the deal gets done. Fleury is a solid 3rd pair young D who can hit and hold his own in his end. He’s expendable because Petry is likely getting extended and with Juulsen being healthy he will be our 3rd pair RHD.

MTL WINNIPEG
Why the hell does it make sense to trade four valuable pieces when all we need to do is be patient for another year or two. Caufield could very well be a better goal scorer than Laine. He is arguably the best pure goal scorer out of the last handful of drafts. It makes zero sense to trade away him and other valuable assets for one player who is streaky and will be asking for a contract he isn’t worth.

Personnaly I think it’s fair, if a pick or mediocre prospect had to be added by the habs I’d be ok. Jets would be a good fit for Domi, he’d feed well off the Jets crowd and would have some skilled line mates with him.

Huge overpay for Ehlers. Domi being a C makes up a good chunk of any cap between him and Ehlers.

That’s not enough for both Domi and Tatar, trade them separately and get more. No need for Broberg our left side prospect pool is looking good with Romanov, Harris, Norlinder. Also there’s no way we trade both Domi and Danault.

I know Juulsen missing a lot of time this season doesn’t help his stock but he’s not a D man to sleep on. He will be a solid top 4 shutdown type RHD. I’d compare him to Chiarot.

Then make it based on an extension. Tatar would be a great winger for McDavid and having a valuable player now is much more of a need to the Oilers than a prospect who could be 2-3 years. These are the moves you make if you want to make deep in a playoffs.

GO HABS GO
That’s an over payment by the habs...Domi puts up just as many points as Ehlers maybe a bit less but being a centre bridges the gap. Kulak is a serviceable third pairing D who actually played well in the playoffs. Juulsen although injured this season has top 4 shutdown potential. I would do Domi and Kulak but definitely not including Juulsen. If the Jets want a centre that’s a fair offer for both teams.
