Lundell is also a huge part of this team while center depth is more important than a winger who’s had one great season and few good seasons who’s not worth a huge contract. Montour same thing. Hes been really good in Florida but he hasn’t been last season good but if he gets a forsling type contract id be okay with that signing.

Lundell would take more to get. Plus he’s more valuable to keep around than montour and if Reinhart takes more than 8.5 he’s not gonna get resigned.

Panthers will trade ekblad before Bennett. He’s too important to their offense with their style of play. Ekblad is totally replaceable.

I mean a pick in the 30’s isnt very valuable to a team trying to win a cup. If they trade lundell it’s not for a pick.

Because the panthers are in win now mode. Not trade assets for parts that won’t play for them for 4 years. So yes useless to them.

Then who is. Granlund? I might be your best this season but he’s certainly far from a teams top player and not a player you build a team around. He’d be your best player now. Maybe not down the road when your young guys grow their game but he’d be your barkov type with the right players.

Florida Pt 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AStovetop</b></div><div>Lol stop. Eklund is in his first year on the worst offensive team and has better production. Granlund has been excellent. Lundell's ceiling isn't much higher than what he's at now. He's only regressed since his rookie year getting easy matchups. Shakir has top pairing potential, Thompson was JUST acquired and is a great 2nd pairing potential, 2-way RHD. Add to that an unprotected 1st from a team that's bairly in the playoffs and will have to shed cap like crazy next season.
Yes obviously I'm joking about just Russell and a 4th for Lundell but that's less absurd than the return proposed here</div></div>
Yes because eklund is playing on the 90% offensive line starts. Lundell is already a top defensive center playing no pp minutes and all pk minutes while shutting down teams upper 2 lines. Nothing but skakir does anything for Florida here. A first is useless to them and the other two are ahl players so you can keep them. The first and shakir is what it would take to move lundell

He’s not better. He might play the more important position but he’s not better. Theyre very very equal if anything. Plus he was coming off of like a few mediocre seasons before the 99 points. Reinhart has been pretty steady most of his career with the exception of the first 20 games last season when he had like 6 points in that span. Than ended the season with 60 something. Nylander set the rate when he got 11 mil as a 90 point winger.

They can. Anything below 9 they can do. And I’d rather resign him than montour. Plus more money is better than your hometown especially if he hasn’t played there in 10 years.

Not offering enough to Reinhart. Fla can just resign him to a 8 year 8.5 mil contract that’s more than what you’re offering with taxes

Panthers have enough money to resign who they need to. If Reinhart wants 9-10 mil he can walk. Hes not worth that with one great season. He’s been good but not 10 mil good for Florida.

You’re not wrong but panthers aren’t giving up players on their roster now except for maybe mahura or kulikov or Lockwood. They dont have room for hanafin with how well forsling oel and mikkola are playing in the left side. Right side is the one that is a little iffy
