Definitely. Wanted to take a stab at what the day-to-day roster might look like. Still think they may have to part with a core part of this team.

I thought the pushback I would get from Kings fans is asking for Pinelli. I think he is a dark horse dynamic prospect that the Bruins do not have enough of.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GiggywithGibby</b></div><div>It's hilarious that you would go shopping for a center prospect in SoCal offering a RHD, but you went to LA, who have enough RHD to supply half the leagues needs, instead of Anaheim who have centers coming out of their ears and are desperate for a RHD.</div></div>
Anaheim is difficult because the only center prospects worth acquiring would cost more than Boston would be willing to part with. McTavish is certainly untouchable and I doubt they’d ship out a top 4 defenseman for anything less.

2023-2024 Bruins
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>I like Turcotte but he has been a disappointment so far. I don’t like the move. Re-signing Zacha for C2 would be smarter.
Some notes. Poitras is playing wing in jrs. Harrison does not project to be a center in the NHL. More like a sniper wing. Jelvik is not a center, and while he may end up being a steal for where he was drafted, he is not going to be anything more than a complimentary piece if he makes the NHL.
Lysell will be RW3 and Debrusk RW1.
Forget Motte. Waste of precious cap space to give a 4th liner 2m. Lauko can handle that spot.</div></div>
Excellent points. I still like the premise of expending a valuable piece like Carlo for a promising center prospect, especially because it seems Boston can draft and develop defenseman exceptionally better than they can forwards. To be honest I completely forgot about Zacha and yes he would be a great re-sign.

Quick Rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DefenseFirst</b></div><div>This isn’t really a rebuild - the team just sucks.</div></div>
The thing about a Bruins rebuild is their need to stay competitive. You may be right but in making these moves you gain two second round picks, and Anaheims will be a very early second. A full rebuild would be foregoing these signings and giving guys like Stankoven 20+.

It all depends on how close NJ Front Office believe they are to being contenders. If they truly believe this Devils team can compete for a Cup then you sell for proven playoff talent.

I think if the Bruins weren’t in desperate need of a good center prospect then that counteroffer would absolutely work. Either way I think a Flyers team with Pastrnak and a new coach could make some noise !

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Chabotrrorr</b></div><div>Would you do the Sens trade if we replaced Boucher with Bernard-Docker or Kleven?</div></div>
I honestly do not know enough about them to answer that. I would hope the Bruins would target forward prospects as their defensive pool is top heavy. But I totally understand wanting to keep Boucher, could be a quintessential power forward some day.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>glarson17</b></div><div>Instant San Jake decline. Top 6 center and top 4 puck moving defenseman prospects and two firsts is an overpayment unless Pasta comes with like an 8 year $4 aav. Just not happening</div></div>
Key word is prospect. Sharks would be paying for proven talent, Bruins inherit all the risk. Any deal involving Pastrnak would need to start with Eklund or Bordeleau, so maybe these won’t be compatible trade partners.

I agree, might be an overpay from Anaheim standpoint. As long as McTavish is the centerpiece.

I agree. Value-wise, I think that trade may be off but the premise should remain the same. If you’re trading Pasta it NEEDS to be for a legit center prospect.

I agree, that would most likely be the price for most of the above players. A depleted prospect pool has put them in a position where in order to acquire high-end talent they would have to sell an untouchable.

Sorry, I must have read it wrong. Honestly do not think the Bruins have the pieces for most of these players unless Pasta goes the other way, which is terrifying for the future of this team lol.

That was the only player I was unsure of price. I more or less put it out there as interest in the player. What would be NSH ask ? Thanks !

Who plays center when Bergeron leaves ? Nothing in the pipeline down the middle. That is how you build for the future instead of wasting value for first and second exits.
