<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xspyrit</b></div><div>This is very hard for Ottawa, the package is good and Carlo is also a big need. Lysell and the 2nd is not as needed but what makes the value fair... The thing is they also have Ridly Greig and Shane Pinto so a Stutzle-Greig-Pinto center line would also be excellent. On the other hand, Norris is part of the core and one of Brady's best friends... He's the most natural goal scorer on the Sens, and there's several guys who can score 35+ goals on any given season. Chabot could really use a Carlo partner, would help him get his game to the next level and RHD is not a position of strength for Ottawa (a LHD has to play RD)

Norris is a bit unknown for most hockey fans but before last season, he scored 47 goals in his last 91 games, 12th GPG in the NHL during that long stretch. He did that at 21-22 y/o while facing top competition every night and having quite good defensive metrics

So many arguments both sides, very hard to decide. I'd look if there was a way to get Carlo without Norris going the other way but I guess the only reason for Boston to move Carlo would be to get a Top C

Edit : by the way, since 2021-22, when Norris was 22 y/o, only these guys have a best GPG than him :

Matthews, Pastrnak, Draisaitl, McDavid, Ovechkin, Rantanen, Kaprizov, Kreider, Hughes, MacKinnon, Robertson, Thompson, Point...</div></div>

Great analysis, and the exact reason why I’d want Boston to target him. Injuries have kept him in the dark but he is a bonafide 1C on all 32 teams.

It's never a problem to be too deep down the middle, and as mentioned, one could go to the wing to keep them all in the top 6. About the only hard and fast rule will likely be that Leo and Trevor not play on the same line since they are both playmakers. We don't predict to have any cap issues well into our competition window with the ELC talent we have and the role models contracts falling off.

Should be a hell of a top 6.</div></div>

Absolutely true. I don’t know, I think I’m just jealous of the center depth lol.
