I don’t think Boston would offer Cole Spicer (former 4th round pick for him that was academically ineligible at ND State) for him
I think they’d rather have the choice of minimum players than trading for him.
I could see Reilly Smith becoming a consideration for the Bruins after they sign their primary free agent targets

I know, but I'm mentally preparing for the worst (and I'm honestly okay with this being, the worst. Anything less is an Absloute Win)

Kempe is worth more than that package by himself. He has the most points on the team and plays on the top line, powerplay, and penalty kill. Ullmark has only 1 year left on his deal.

0 way Bert goes for anything less then a 1st especially 50% retained & to a divisional rival

Bertuzzi is going to get a lot more than this. His point totals aren't great this year but he's going to be valued by his reputation. It always happens. Someone is absolutely going to pay a 1st for him.

Oiler decline. Desharnais has been a staple on our third pair and is a big reason why our PK is doing good.

Nick Seeler is another target that Bruins should go for instead.

Think it'll take more to get Middleton, but I do love the player.
Don't understanding the CGY trade. You have a similar player in DeBrusk already and he'll sign for a reasonable cap hit.

For two guys who haven’t done anything meaningful this year.</div></div>
Meaningful this year....... Wennberg hasn't done anything meaningful since 016-17 season lol

Bussi and Di-ietro both playing well in AHL. Both ready, either can handle backup role. Irrelevant tho.

Either way, you don't move him for Garland - good or bad....just not what the Bruins need and this deal isn't worth it for the Bruins.

The Fix
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JJHockey_15</b></div><div>He’s a very very good player yes. However, I need to see him put up numbers when Connor McDavid is out of the lineup. He seems to go kind of quiet when McDavid isn’t in the lineup.</div></div>
I hate the Oilers with a passion, but I'm the first to admit that Draisaitl is better than any player Calgary has had since Iginla. The only question would be if he would resign with Boston. Boston has depth at d and goal, and a line of pasta and drai would be unstoppable.
I would have swapped Carlo for McAvoy, but I didn't think he would waive and it made the cap more difficult to navigate

well aware, but to relieve 3m in cap we'll need to either take him or that 6th, whatever ANA chooses. Prevents us from burying him in the AHL at 1,150,000 cap hit or paying to move him

He paced 40 points, considering his age and results him hitting 40 points this season is completely within reason
