Devils take that and run, but why would the Bruins give DeBrusk up so cheaply?

Interesting. But the whole point of moving Ullmark is creating cap space. Pass.

Was thinking that, but LA is in cap hell so we'd have to take on a contract.

Simply…they don’t package them together.
Buyout Reilly.
Trade Forbort for late pick or FC.
Saves 5.67m.
Then if they want to trade Hall, they trade him for market value.

not wanting to fall
I don’t think selling Hall for less than his value to sign Bertuzzi for even more is a great business decision.
Korpi gets double that somewhere.

If he had an extension, I think he would get one other piece, no offense to Bratt.

Reilly and Wagner are not players you have to pay to get rid of.
Korpisalo sucks. If he costs more than Foligno you overpaid. Coyle still has an NTC. I doubt Columbus is on his wish list.

Boston declines the Montreal deal, it's a waste of cap. You do not need to pay to get rid of Reilly.

Go OLD to reach NEW
Edmonton won't take on more cap for a worse player. i mean the trade is realistic since holland is an idiot but its not at all fair for the oilers here, unless a D man like Gryz, Reilly is added with some retention and Barrie going the other way

Dream but realistic Offseason Season Next Season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Knuckl3s</b></div><div>And Bergeron could still retire as soon as this season. Fluto Shinzawa sure ain't optimistic about him returning</div></div>
Fluto also was the clown that said Pastrnak refused to re-sign as long as Sweeney was the GM....that was quickly debunked. There's a lot of factors in Bergeron's decision, most around his family. Now maybe these things don't matter to Bergeron, but he has some pretty big milestones that he'd likely hit next season:
<strong>In Bruins History</strong>
3G shy of 3rd all-time in goals
43A shy of 3rd all-time in assist
31P shy of 3rd all-time in points
Throw in that this season Boston will be hosting the Winter Classic and there is appeal for Bergeron to return. He also got surgery done early this off-season likely with the intention to be ready for camp should he decide to keep playing. Its not like Bergeron is just clinging like Joe Thornton was at the end. Bergeron is still an impact player at 36yrs old. I'm sure if he wasn't still playing at a 60-70pt pace and being a Selke finalist every year then the decision would be easier.

Hope you're right. I'm not a Bruins fan, but I might pay to see Bergeron return just to hit those milestones you listed. So much respect for him as a player and a leader
