It definitely isn't the best goaltending but I think it could hold up
Georgiev is capable of being a starter imo and Campbell has been strong in the few games he has played.
The top 4 defenseman and the forward lines are just so strong though that I still think this is a great team.

I think we will sign a vet 6-7 dman for cheap and leave the other spot open for internal competition. It wouldn’t surprise me to see guys moved up and down from the Cuda all year unless someone really shines.
I think the last 4 forward spots are also going to be open to internal competition. We’ll see who comes back ready to take a spot.
I thought Kellman has already indicated he wasn’t coming back.</div></div>
oh really? I didn't know. That would really suck. I thought he was a great 4c in his first season.

welcome to CapFriendly man! Pretty solid first team!
I think Merkley should be in the AHL for his first pro season on the top pair getting 1st powerplay minutes. Not great for his development if he's on the 3rd pair and I'm not even totally sure he's NHL ready. Then maybe in the 21-22 season he can make the jump to the 2nd pair if Burns has fallen off a cliff or was selected by Seattle. I would like to see him with a veteran, stay at home defenseman like Vlasic.
I also would keep Chmelevski and Pasichnuk in the AHL because they both look like pretty solid prospects but likely aren't NHL ready and if they're scratches they wouldn't get that much playing time which would hinder their development.
Last minor change I would make would be having True and Kellman in the lineup instead of Bergmann and Handemark.
Overall a pretty solid team though!

I think Smith could get a bit more and I think Leivo will get double that if not more
yes I know but Heed really shouldn't be a starting defenseman and Middleton is a solid shutdown guy

If we take Bozak and Kyrou and give you Labanc that gives you extra cap space so you definitely could afford him.

I'm not hating this team. King Hank is pie in the sky, but what's wrong with a little fun?</div></div>
underpaid most players and I would rather Middleton start as a 3rd pairing LD and have Ferraro play on his off side again.
and as you said, goaltending is a big question mark

Kyrou had way more points though
also in both of they're last seasons in the OHL they both played the same amount of games but Kyrou had a whopping 34 more points! Kyrou also averaged about a point per game last season where he was the same age as Chmelevski who wasn't even close to a point per game.

Kyrou put up 9 points in 28 games at 22 (or 21).
Labanc has proven himself to be a high scoring player, Kyrou has hardly played, and isn't super young. he has 1 year left on his contract.
He's arguably a worse prospect that Chmelevski, if a trade was offered 1 for 1 Chmelevski for Labanc + 2 3rds, someone would get shot.</div></div>
no way he's worse than Chemelevski

He was untouchable when Buffalo wanted him for O'Reilly and not much as changed in his trajectory since then. It's also going to be tough for us to take any cap back if we're trying to re-sign Pietrangelo, and re-signing Labanc will likely cost 2.5-4 million I would think right? If we're out on Pietrangelo then perhaps since we could use some more scoring, but that scoring could also come from Kyrou.</div></div>
Yeah sounds about right for Labanc's next contract
I mean say he signs for 3.5 million and we take Bozak we're freeing about 2.2 in cap space and we gave you a middle 6 right wing for a middle 6 right wing and took another 3rd line C/RW. You should be able to find a decent 3c for 2.2.

they both averaged about a point per game in the AHL and Kyrou was only a year older when he did it. He's also on a great contract for next season and is 2 years younger.
