Leafs 2024-2025
That offer isn't going to be enough to entice Seattle to move Larsson.

return for marner from every team p4 Seattle to Winnepeg
Doesn’t work for Seattle. Don’t want to trade McCann, and we were pretty bad when Dunn got injured so we can’t afford to lose him, like we lost 2/3 of the games after that and went from still having a shot at the playoffs with a favorable schedule to the 8th overall pick

SEA declines. Not moving Wright even if Marner extends. To expensive of a contract extension and it is to early for SEA to be giving up on Wright.

For Toronto. Seattle declines because Daccord is worth more.

Not as bad as what a lot of people post, but the Kraken also can’t trade Dunn, we pretty much fell apart when he got injured

Fixing the Leafs and trading core pieces
Seattle passes for a couple of reasons. 1) RF doesn't trade away first round picks. 2) Dunn just re-signed and is hitting his prime vs Marner being a FA next year on an inflated contract. Seattle's not giving up that much for one year and no guarantees.
Seattle holds that 1st rounder, takes one of the top 4 D-men in the draft and moves on.

DRAFT IGINLA PLUS TRADE UP FOR SENNECKE
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KrakenTheCode</b></div><div>According to multiple draft pick value charts, the difference in value between the 8th overall pick and the 24th overall pick is equivalent to a late first rounder. I highly doubt Harris has that sort of trade value right now. Even if he did, the Kraken have a full blue line at the moment and will likely want to keep a starting spot open for Ryker Evans to continue his development, so I can't see them being all that interested in Harris. The Kraken are better served sticking at 8 and adding another top prospect to their pipeline than moving down 16 spots just to add a defenseman they don't really need.</div></div>
Exactly what I was going to say. (The difference between #8 and #24 is #23 on the most recent draft-pick-value chart I use.) I'll go further than your last sentence by saying Even if you assume that the prospect selected with #24 turns out to be a middle-6 forward and Harris turns into a perfectly acceptable second- or third-pairing defensemen, the two of them collectively probably won't have the same impact as the prospect chosen at #8. (F Helenius? C Catton? LD Dickinson? RD Parekh?)

Offseason
SEA declines. The left side for SEA is already locked in, and SEA's best defensive prospect, Evans, is also on the left side. Truscott and a 4th just isn't a valuable enough of a prospect for SEA to consider trading Gourde and retaining on him.

Looking at a possible retool
Seattle passes. Doesn't matter how much Nelson may be a RF guy, RF doesn't trade first round picks. The prospect and picks still hold more value in the Kraken system based on they are still building out a talent pool.

I don't see Seattle doing that deal. The narrative around them giving up on Shane Wright is not true, and the whole situation is very misunderstood. The Wright prospect hate has become far too prevelant. he put up 1.85 PPG in the OHL last season, which was the second highest in the league that season, and would have been second this year as well. He also put up .75PPG in the AHL as an 18 year old last year, while also being the Captain of a gold medal winning WJC team. This year he is putting up just over .75 PPG in the AHL while being great both ways, when he's not even supposed to be in the AHL this year. Even if they chose to move on from him I highly doubt they would consider moving him for Nelson. Nelson isn't a bad player but Seattle is not competing now and he does not move the needle, the Isles aren't even competing with him and they have a more talented team than the Kraken.

Seattle aint want him
Wright is going to be with the Kraken next season. Coming into the season management indicated the desire to have him in one place for a whole season as opposed to four different teams last season. He’s doing great in the AHL and seems to be taking on a leadership role among the other youngsters there. There’s no indication of dissatisfaction from the team or player

A 2nd and 3rd isn't that solid of an offer to make them want to consider making their team worse and creating a big hole in the line up. They just don't have a replacement for him or Larsson.

It’s not enough for Larsson.
Just because you give more assets than the St. Louis trade last year, doesn’t mean it’s more. Villenueve is likely a career AHL player. Tverberg is an underrated prospect but his ceiling is a bottom 6 guy. Timmins has very little to no value because he’s only eating cap space for a 7th defenceman and he’s always injured. The 1st is decent but this years draft is weak after the top 20 prospects so it’s not much. 2nd isn’t worth much since it’ll be late and the 3rd isn’t much either.
Larsson retained will definitely cost more than this.

Eberle is probably the only one available that is listed. RF isn't trading players with term so that knocks off most of the list above.
Schultz, Wennberg, Eberle, Driedger, I would expect Schultz gets some calls. Wennberg doesn't put up a lot of points but this guy plays a 200 foot game and does so many small things right on the ice that doesn't show up on the scoresheet.
I could see RF trading Ebs at the deadline and pushing to re-sign him as a UFA if the deal is right.

Add to all you say the fact that Adam Larsson has appeared in every single game that the Kraken have ever played, and there's a small but significant sentimental factor there.

Seems perfectly logical, only difference is Muzzin actually had the playoff pedigree. Larsson does not but that's on the buyer to figure out how much that bothers them.

Larsson
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KrakenTheCode</b></div><div>From my POV, you are way off. Hypothetically I think a competitive offer to Larsson would be comparable to the trade Toronto made for Muzzin, something like Niemelä, Robertson, and 2024 first and third round picks. It would cost more on top of that to get the Kraken to retain some of Larsson's cap hit.
Honestly though I don't see the Kraken entertaining trading away Larsson any time soon, he's a critical piece of their team and they don't have any incentive to move him. It has already been reported that Larsson is going nowhere this deadline.</div></div>
Makes sense, thanks for your thoughts I appreciate it!!
