- NYR and STL: Kreider for Kyrou and 2020 1st
- LA and CAL: Toffoli for 2020 2nd, Ruzicka, and 2021 conditional 4th
- OTT and NYI: Pageau and Hainsey for conditional 2020 2nd, conditional 2021 3rd, Kieffer Bellows
- NJ and CAR: Vatanen for 2020 2nd
- ANH and BOS: Kase for Oskar Steen and 2020 3rd
- LA and COL: Martinez for 2021 2nd and Sampo Ranta
I think the closest he got was the Vatanen trade, but the others I think are a little off.

I feel like smith is the perfect move because his style of play is perfect when being one of Sid’s wingers. Plus giving Sullivan a reason to reunite Simon-Bjugstad-Hornqvist will be a huge plus.

Kovalchuk might be a cheaper option than Tatar
For Tatar MTL will ask 2020 1st + Hallander or Poulin + 2020 1st round pick but JR would never do that so maybe drop the 2020 1st for a 2020 mid pick and a 2021 2nd round pick

It's just I don't think he's driving play in the neutral zone or winning puck battles the way that everyone else on the team does. He can't spend the entire game in the offensive zone, at some point he has to backcheck and step up in the neutral zone. I really don't think we should trade him or Bjugstad though. I mean is Tyler Toffoli really going to be that much better than Galchenyuk in the system that we play? Plus this team has so much chemistry I don't really want anyone getting moved off the NHL roster unless its absolutely necessary.</div></div>
Toffoli has developed into the all-around player in all three zones that you yourself say Galchenyuk isn't. He's often used on the penalty kill, which I don't think that you can say about Galchenyuk. Frankly, I'd love to see TT finish his career in Pittsburgh.

I think it's right on value, but you'd be stupid to trade Marino. That would be true even if Schultz was under contract for a couple more years; in that case, I'd rather trade him than Marino.
I shouldn't have used the word "viable." It's not at all viable from a rational Penguins viewpoint. I was trying to get across the concept of player-to-player value. I was trying to answer your question of whether Rakell or Kase was available and/or the likely price. Sorry about the very poor choice of word.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LetsTalkNHL</b></div><div>I do not think it is necessarily giving up on Murray. If Jarry keeps it up, it is clear that hell be the long-term option. I love Murray and appreciate everything he's done here in such a short amount of time. The way I see it, we need to move one of them before the Seattle expansion draft, since I do not want to lose another sick goalie for free. Let's say we keep him past this season and he puts up similar numbers next year, his value won't be high at all, but well be forced to make a move because of Seattle. If we move him in the summer, we can still get a solid return because of his age, credentials and potential. One bad year is something he can bounce back from for sure, but two years will really lower his value. Sure, next year could be an awesome year for him and he brings up his value and the Pens could do that, but they'll have to sign him to a contract and I am worried about the cap space.</div></div>
Very good point about the expansion draft, kind of forgot that's on it's way. Yikes, I guess you're right. You did mention to keep him through this season so I guess I can live with only a few more months of Muzz :(

Did some nice work with the salary cap and getting JJ off the books, but I don't want them to give up on Murray yet. Having 2 solid goalies isn't a bad thing, and I am not so sure Jarry will earn $3.5M after roughly 60-70 GP. Murray got that deal after winning two cups, but I agree that they should do a similar deal for Jarry. 2 first round picks would be very nice, though ?

In high school he was given the nick name of “Man Go” which translates to nice guy or something like that. He put it on social media and a fan read it as “Mango” and it just stuck. He explained it on an interview lol. I’ll go try and find a link to the video.

They are in cap hell. They need to get out of long term salary. They’ve spent too much on their top 9. They need to get out of some of that salary and depend on guys like Bracco next year.

Kane won't be cheap. He leads the Sharks in goals and got a career high last season. He carries a 3 team trade list. I highly doubt Pitt will give up anything Doug Wilson wants.

Going to be honest, you wont like the costs for any of them and Im not sure SJ wants anything your selling. I think talk for all but Labanc start with your best prospect and a first, but I dont think sharks even consider moving Hertl or Meier for what you can offer. Labanc id do for like a late first.

Also, he already has 83 PIM, something that I am not crazy about. Between the 4 players I listed, he would probably be my last choice.</div></div>
Ya think Winnipeg and Buffalo are on his trade list? Cause if they are he really only has a one team trade list.. Lol

Wild probably see if they get a better offer for Zucker. The 3rd this year will likely be late so almost a 4th. Next years draft isn't as good as this years draft. Maybe Guerin likes Bjugstad a lot and goes for it, but I would think he would say the same thing.

My ideal scenario for next year would be getting Campbell or Peterson from LAK, and ideally a first (obv not theirs) that they could get from a Toffoli trade, move Bjugs JJ Hornqvist and DeSmith, then run with lines like these
Simon/ZAR-Sid-Kahun
Guentzel-Geno-Rust
Simon/ZAR-McCann-Tanev
Lafferty-Blueger-x
Noesen and Johnson/Blandisi as HS's
Dumo-Letang
MP-Marino
Riikola/Almari-guy like TvR/Demelo
Jarry
Campbell/Peterson

A few ideas
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>I said this all summer before the year started. Every detroit poster kept telling me they would play their prospects and they were fine.
You could tell what was going to happen the whole time. The starting lineup looked like a collection of fine china about to have a bull released through it. You knew they would all be on IR by mid season.
There are multiple teams going to have to rebuild at least 1/2 their defense next year. DET, TOR, WPG just off the top of my head will be looking to bring in like 2-3 guys a piece.
This off season is going to be insane for defense men contracts. There is going to be demand and not much available.</div></div>
I agree the defense core is a Mash unit these days. Only Hronek and Cholowski are the only kids that have played worth keeping. McIllrath is sub par, Bowey was just put on waivers and Hicketts is a 7th defenseman at best. They have some guys in the system and it will take 2 to years for them to mature. In the mean time they like almost 50% of the teams will be trying to improve the back end core.
Wings defense in 2020/21
Dekeyser, Nemeth, Hronek, Cholowski, Sieder? & a mystery. That is where I believe Yzerman will wheel and deal to get a player.
