Sharks add a top sixer
If we were true contenders I might be open to something like this, but we're not. We shouldn't be trading away one of our top defensive and forward prospects for Rakell.

Reinhart would be the perfect add IMO.</div></div>
Gambrell and two seconds should to it
Dont think SJS should trade Ozzy right now

Yeah Sharks would be fleecing both teams in these trades. No way either team accepts as is - especially WPG

Both trades yield a larger return, speaking as a sharks fan

Why would Buffalo do that? If you want Thompson I'm asking for Gregor and a 3rd or something like that

Sharks refresh - BOS TOR trades
Interesting signings and trades. The TOR one definitely needs to be a 2nd instead of a 4th, and the Melk-man's needs to be a 4th or 5th instead of a 6th, and Sorenson would fetch between a 2nd or 3rd so value's about right there but substitute Marcus in for Barclay and that's a deal with the Bruins since the Sharks will be keeping Goodrow after his breakout year (I get the idea of wanting to trade him while his value's high but in this case you're not really getting much in return after taking on Backes, plus he's close with the players in the locker room too).

Not reasonable contracts. Pavelski is going to want way more than 5. Heed, Ryan, Chartier, Gambrell, and the rest are not going to get those kind of contracts.

Dillon will probably be a casualty as well as Pavelski.

Sharks Tavares
I think you're overvaluing both Tierney and Hertl. I think Tierney will be 4 year/2.5m. Hertl will be 5 year 4.5m.
I'd love to see JT in teal at that term/year, but I'd be shocked. Also, Martin might be going soon we we wouldn't need to buyout.
I also think Dell is going to get traded, but who knows. Not bad.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>icehawk2006</b></div><div>Cap wont go to $80M. The most it will go up is $3M. You also need to leave space for a 7th D. Tierney will get a standard bridge at no more than $3M per season for 3 years.</div></div>
Both Bettman and Daley are on record saying that the cap will be closer to $80 million then $78 million and Daley should know seeing that he's over the NHLPA who makes the decision to raise the cap in the first place.

1) You can't offer JT an 8 year contract
2) JT gets more than 10M AAV
